I Would Describe Myself As

I'm venturing on this site with the hopes of finding companionship with a new female friend. It could be for a season, a reason or a lifetime. In the past I aimed for women who from the very beginning I felt were marriage quality. The result, in my case, were long periods of being 100% single and not seeing anyone at all. The kind of person I most imagine I could share that special connection with is someone who in the same frame of mind and approach to dating that I am in at this time. Ok, but how do my specifics add up to my potential partner's list of preferences she has in mind insofar as her de facto "requirements" that she must have in order to decide whether she wants Guy A or Guy B or Guy C that she was getting to know recently and seeing where it might go. I remember reading somewhere that if you can find someone with 80% of the characteristics you ideally prefer in a partner, then in all likelihood you've hit the jackpot at 80% and above because you honestly can't have a relationship that's perfect. No one is perfect. That means your skill at compromise, give and take, taking turns and ability to stick with the person you've come to love despite their flaws. More about me: I'm single with my own place and a pretty stable income. But as I'm a half-time student looking to complete prerequisites for graduate school. Sometimes I work. Sometimes I don't work. To put it bluntly, I'm living under the poverty line at this time. What else? I don't have any children.
