Here’s me,
I transitioned from hairdresser, to martial arts instructor. to fitness trainer and finally to daycare my g-kids.
My 30 year marriage ended badly, (won’t get into that.)
I had my 1st and only living child in 1979 with my 1st husband. She is a machinist now, she took after my father!
I’ll be honest, I’m relationship wary, realizing that my past (raised by wolves) was deeply embedded in my choices. Now, I am unfortunately lacking self- confidence in that area. My past relationships began somewhat haphazardly, going forward I want to be more conscious about it all. However, a big part of me craves connection, so here I am!
I like to write, craft and garden at home. My new house is eager to have a good going over!
I make good use of the gym near me, except when I have the g-kids, but they are all school age so I have breaks to do all that.
I haven’t given up on the universe and I want more joy in life, so trying to get out with friends a bit and looking at local weekend events.
I want to start any new connections with a solid friendship, building towards something more if it ‘s meant to be.
For all I am a hippie at heart, I am interested in someone who is established, I want to be wanted, not needed. I want an equitable relationship, not someone who’s looking for security or “fixing.” Been there, done that and I don't want to repeat any of it.
I would be happy to know someone who can hold a conversation and not only talk about themselves.
I’ve been described as a good and supportive listener, probably due to my years as a hairdresser.
Not super picky about appearance but am partial to someone who has some energy and can get out and walk at least.
I have my own health issues, so I understand, but I don’t let them stop me.
I’m interested in someone who takes care of themselves, inside and out :)
